The way all of the pieces fit into the answer is amazing. I`m 10 years old and I love to read. It is for all ages. This is by far the best book I ever read. The end of each chapter makes you want to read more and more. My family is going to read it too. I suggest that this is the best book to read.
It is one of the few books that makes me laugh out loud and not be able to put the book down. I read this book for the first when I was in middle school, and have re-read it some 3 times since then. My husband and I read it together recently, and we enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time so long ago. It is a great book to read as a family, a couple, or by yourself. If you haven't read it, it is a definite must.
For people who like mystery books, read this book. I absolutely loved this book. In the beggining it's a little bit confusing, but it captures your attention, anyways. Even for people who don't like mysteries, you're bound to after this. What I'm trying to say is just that The Westing Game is a wonderful book that everyone should read.
This book is very good. I have read it a total of 77 times (and still counting) Have your kids put down that Harry Potter series and pick this one up.
For example, one of the characters thinks she's the most wonderful thing in the world. In his will he says that he was murdered by one of 16 tenants. I wanted to read this book because it won the Newberry Medal and so it has to be good. Bombs go off in the coffee shop, chinese restaurant, a wedding hall, and in an elevator.
After they move in a rich man named Samuel Westing dies. The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin is a fictional mystery. Another character is very smart and has a job as a judge. You will never guess who the murderer is. He names these tenants as his heirs and leaves them the job of solving the mystery of who killed him.
What also makes this book interesting is that when the heirs are trying to figure out who the murderer is there are bombs going off all over the place. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes an easy read and mysteries. The book starts with six letters getting mailed out for families to move into Sunset Towers. My personal rating is 5 out of 5 stars for this book. The heirs are paired up into 8 teams of 2 and are all given clues.
One thing I like about the book is that all the characters have different personalities. I don't usually give a book 5 stars, but I like that with this book you don't know what to expect.
